Lauren and Leo’s wedding was my last of 2016, and it was a great way to close out the year! Lauren and Leo were actually married earlier in the year, but wanted to have a ceremony and reception so all of their friends and family could celebrate with them. They both love Waveny Park in Darien, so they wanted to have their first look and some formals there, before heading to The Inn at Longshore for their ceremony and reception. Even though it was late fall, we had a beautiful day for some photos outside and even found some trees with colorful leaves on them! It was a perfect wedding and certainly my pleasure to be a part of it. I had Michael Ciarleglio 2nd shooting for me and some of his photos are included below. Enjoy!

Ceremony time!

I’ve probably said it before, but I always look forward to weddings at the Webb Barn. It’s basically a blank slate, and it’s always interesting to me to see the weddings people create there. Meghann grew up in the area, so when searching for a venue for her wedding, the Webb Barn was an easy choice. As a bonus for me, Meghann also knew how great downtown Wethersfield is for photos, so we made sure we had enough time in the schedule to take advantage of it. We started the day off with their first look along a wooded trail behind the barn, and it was pretty much all smiles for the rest of the day! Meghann and Andy enjoy hiking, and one touch I really loved was using various trail names as table markers and describing their experiences hiking those trails. Overall a great wedding and it was my pleasure documenting it! Enjoy the photos!
