I met up with Liz and Aaron at Silver Sands Park for their engagement photos for what was forecasted to be a cloudy morning but turned out to be sunny and beautiful. Liz and Aaron frequented Silver Sands when they were in Milford, which made it a good choice for their engagement photos. Given the forecast we had the place to ourselves, so we wandered around a bit and got some great photos. I’m looking forward to their wedding at the Ethan Allen Hotel next year, but until then enjoy some photos from their engagement session!
Thea and Jeff’s wedding was awesome. They were off to a good start on their venue choice (a wedding at the Beardsley Zoo, how great is that?), but they didn’t stop there. Thea created the bouquets the morning of the wedding from flowers she bought in the farmers market, they also created the centerpieces and decor, Jeff made all of the desserts, but even better than all of that was the thought they put into their beautiful ceremony. A appropriate ceremony for the venue, they had readings for everyone in their wedding party including their parents, they spoke about their journey in meeting each other, their relationship, and even included some fitting anecdotes about how animals meet in the wild. A truly memorable and touching ceremony that was an honor to witness. After talking with Thea and Jeff leading up to their wedding, it was so great to see their vision unfold and be a part of their wedding day. I also had Matt Branscombe 2nd shooting with me, and some of his photos are included below. Enjoy!
If there’s cats where you’re getting ready, they’re going to have their picture taken.
Thea + Jeff had their first look on the bridge in Beardsley Park.
Jeff took a moment to read to Thea.
After some photos on the bridge we headed into the zoo.
They also got to feed the otters!
