Kristen and Patrick were married on what was probably one of the hottest days of the summer! They had their ceremony in the First Church 1652 in Farmington, and hosted their reception in the Sarah Porter Memorial next door. Despite the heat, Kristen and Patrick were really great sports about walking around Main Street in Farmington and getting some photos in the surrounding area. It’s always great to have a couple that is relaxed, fun, and up for whatever on their wedding day! I had Dave Noonan second shooting with me for the day, and some of his photos are mixed in below. Enjoy!

Dress bustling is a team sport

From my standpoint, the best thing I can get on a rainy wedding day is a couple that is willing to roll with it. Keeler Tavern has a beautiful sunken garden perfect for an outdoor ceremony so Lindsey and Chris were naturally hoping to have great weather for their day, but when mother nature wasn’t cooperating they decided to go with it anyway. The staff wiped down the chairs, guests grabbed their umbrellas, and Lindsey and Chris had their perfect ceremony on the garden steps. Lindsey and Chris were such a fun couple to work with, and it was really a pleasure documenting their wedding day for them. Enjoy the photos!
